Who we are

Pickle Bears (“we”) operates this court booking website. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it when you create an account, book a court, or invite friends.

Data we collect

Account data: email address, password (hashed by our auth provider), optional name, phone, address, city, play level, and reminder preference. Booking data: court, date/time, number of players, invite aliases/emails you enter, and payment-split status. Technical data: session cookies needed to keep you logged in, and basic server logs (IP, time, error traces) for security and reliability.

How we use data

We use your data to create and manage bookings, show court availability, send booking reminders you opt into (email and/or SMS), support your account, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

We share data with processors that help us run the service, including Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), and—when configured—Resend (email), Semaphore (SMS), Sentry (error monitoring), and payment providers. They may only process data on our instructions. Invite emails/aliases you enter are stored so friends can be invited to a booking.

Retention

We keep account and booking records while your account is active and as needed for disputes, accounting, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account; some records may remain where the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the details on the Info page. You can also update profile fields in your account settings.
